Is botanical gardens free?

Admission to the venue is free for everyone, regardless of residence, on Wednesdays starting at 10 a.m., and for New York City residents throughout the day on Wednesdays. Admission to the venue does not include admission to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, special exhibitions or the tram tour. The Grounds Access Pass is free for New York residents all day on Wednesdays.

Proof of residence is required; it can only be redeemed on site. Admission to the venue includes access to gardens and outdoor collections, including the Everett Children's Adventure Garden. The land access pass is free for everyone, regardless of residence, on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. Admission to the New York Botanical Garden alone is free all day on Wednesdays for New York City residents.

Bring the whole family to enjoy seasonal fun on the grounds and at the Everett Children's Adventure Garden. Exclusive admission does not include admission to the conservatory, special exhibitions, the adventure garden for children, the rock garden or the trolley tour. Culture PassThe New York Botanical Garden is pleased to participate in the Culture Pass program, offering free access to the grounds only Monday through Friday. Individual and institutional members of the American Public Garden Association (APGA) and institutional members of the APGA are entitled to free admission to land only, upon presentation of a valid membership card or institution identification.
